THE season doesn't start for another week, but I'm not afraid to call it right now:
Detroit over the Mets in 4.
Unfortunately, my beloved Cardinals fail to make the playoffs for the second straight year. We'll be back in '09!

If the Mets make it that far into the post-season, I'll be a happy camper.

No No No Bif, the Cubs will beat the Mets in 6 for the National League Championship. Sorry, but I believe the Cubs have been mathematically eliminated.

Tigers have a good shot at taking it all this year, no question about it, BUT the early going got a bit tougher with Granderson on the DL with a broken finger.

Strictly speaking, I think that the Cubs have been mathematically eliminated through the 2011 season, however the debate between Obama and Hillary whether games played in Michigan and Florida will count may ch-ch-change that.

Not quite to opening day yet and it is already official. So you don't look foolish come October, you ought to ch-ch-change that to Cubs are WORLD CHAMPS. psssst.... Come May 9, I will be heading to Vegas and will put 500 on them winning the NLCS and 500 on them winning the World Series. That's how sure I am. (That's way above my norm of 100)
