The Chronicles of Narnia.....it's been since I was ten years old that I've read them. I'm looking forward to the Disney movie coming out this December. Ya think this is Disney's attempt to get the Harry Pothead/ fantasy seekers? Actually, I love the Harry Potter books, but am rereading Order of the Pheonix seein how I forgot most of it. Sometimes that happens when I read too many books in a short time. DeeDee

I took the Narnia movies as a move to capitalize on the popularity of the Lord of the Rings movies. After all, C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien were drinking buddies at Oxford. I read a couple of the "Perelandera" novels in my youth, and decided they were the shit. So I don't think I'll be reading the Narnia ones. Besides, I have trouble keeping up with my message board reading, don't need to complicate matters with actual BOOKS!......Jake

Ryder - I believe there were three in that trilogy: Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength. I tried to read them, just couldn't get into it. Too much moral posturing, not enough action.
The Chronicles of Narnia is about seven books long, and is more kid-oriented, I believe. I haven't read them either......Jake
