Read it during the flight from SanFran to Chicago on Saturday--Jeffrey Archer's collection of 12 fictional tales (many that he embellished from real life tales), mostly involving fascinating criminals and what crime they committed that often landed them in jail. But that the diverse characters were caught has little to do with how cool the stories were.
Easy, succinct reading--the language is not high art, but the story themes/endings are nicely woven.
I bought it at the kiosk nearest my gate and was standing there reading it when a man came up to me and said that Jeff Archer was his son's fav author...since I was on page 28 already, I figured I should just buy the damn thing.
I will be giving it away to a friend (not a must-keep book) but do recommend it.
