This morning heard NPR on since. Source original thought you I post should.... seattlepi.nwsource.com/business/217802_grammar28.aspI blame all this on Yoda from the Star Wars movies... Yeeessss, Yoda in grammar reversed sentences speaks... yessss. Trivia point... If Yoda's grammer patterns are out of order for standard English... when the movie was dubbed into a forgein language for which that patter IS correct, was it translated into that language with an English grammer pattern, or left correctly in the forgein grammer patter?? I took a computational linguistics class in grad school (making computers parse natural language sentences) and it is NOT an easy task.
How about trying to grammar-check a conversation between Yoda and Gollum?......Jake

As far as Gollum/Yoda... looks to me like it could handle things just fine!! Pro athletes... maybe we should check for their off season activities in Microsofts payroll

How about trying to grammar-check a conversation between Yoda and Gollum? Could be worse. They could be speaking in Assembly language.
