Was looking at that yesterday Ian.
Alphabetical starting with Capitalized names.
Then the Admin.
Then Alphabetical with non-caps.
Looks like those of you with more than one name get thrown into the mix with non-caps!

I was wondering that myself. I'm not sure Gary's explanation is quite accurate, but it's close. Still doesn't make any sense, though.
At first I thought you meant the membership levels. You start as a Virgin, become a Neophyte at 5 posts, and a Member at 10 posts. I think you become an Eldar at 100 posts, unless I ch-ch-change it later. No rhyme or reason, just the whim of the board administrator! (i.e., "Because I can!")
As to why some people are listed more than once, I assume they screwed up! I'll probably go through and clean it up once it becomes clear which one they really plan to use.....Jake

Now that you have me on the right track Gary it's Capitals Capitals with spaces lower case I'm guessing lower case with spaces if there were any the administrator is at the top of the subgroup he falls into Ian

I don't know...
It all seems to make sense til you get to 'The Good Sister and Lou'!
Don't see how they fit in the pattern.
Do we have too much time on our hands??

What the hell is an "eldar"? Are there different distinctions higher than 100? Maybe a [glow=red,2,300]Porn Star[/glow] at 5000, Producer at 1000, Director at 500....etc.. After all this IS a movie discussion forum ;D

What the hell is an "eldar"? ... Can't you guess? The "Eldar" are those classes of Elves in Tolkien that left Valinor for Middle Earth during the First Age, but retained their ties with the Undying Lands in the West of the Sea. They are revered as the most holy and important of the Elven race. Sorry, but you "axed".....Jake

I finally figured it out....I think....
Capitals alphabetical lowercase alphabetical Administrator at the top of the proper subgroup
When I registered I used lower case for our names and changed it later but it didn't ch-ch-change our place on the list. If Lucky and Jake can confirm my theory then its real simple. Lucky had to of originally sign up as lucky hedo and Jake as chicago jake. Inquiring minds want to know.

I had to register with a username of "admin." Then I entered Chicago Jake as a "display name." So my guess is that I'd fall in the lower-case-no-spaces category......Jake

Damn Gary you and me should be Sherlock Holmes and Watson. admin. that comes before Angela.... so once you register your place is set and if you ch-ch-change your name it still stays in that spot....Woo hoo.

Ian, I think you got it!! If you look at someone's profile, there is both a "username" (which you register with and doesn't ch-ch-change, ever) and a "name" (which is displayed, and you CAN ch-ch-change it). The list is alphabetical by username, even though it lists you by "name"......Jake
