Are any of you Chicagoans going to be at Wingfest in Feb? I'm coming down for a weekend of drunken debauchery and that is on my agenda. Wondering if any of you other reprobates will be there. Feb 26th, the weekend after my birthday. www.wingfest.net/Zilla (who really should be working today...it is the busy time for closing up the books and all)

Hey, I can be conned into a party! I'll be around that weekend. Hadn't even heard of Wingfest. If my guest room is renovated by then (can only hope!), you have a place to stay in the suburbs if that's of any interest/need.

Sure, Deb. My cozy Lincoln Park townhouse can accomodate ONE guest uncomfortably. More than that, and the accomodations will become less and less luxurious. But all are welcome......Jake

I mentioned to the folks i was going to wingfest with that there might be a tnmc party forming and here is some info that may or may not be useful.
"Nikki, the Manager at Gators North called us a little while ago because Dave, one of the Owners, mentioned to her that we might have a larger group looking to attend. We can get as many tickets as we like but we have to have confirmation and payment in by this Thursday, 1/05/06. Tickets are $40.00 each and include the Friday Night Before Party, beer on the bus and Wingfest ticket. It look's like they will only have two buses available. If you want Zilla, post this info in Jake's site. If someone you can vouch for needs a ticket, I'll get them.

Is this something that people from Chicago (or anyplace else for that matter) are still thinking about doing?? I'm thinking a freezing blizzard in Chicago at the end of February is a possibility on this girls calendar?? I'm also thinking that I'd go and do about anything to see some Hedo friends these days.

I'm also thinking that I'd go and do about anything to see some Hedo friends these days. Take I-10 to I-19 and get off at Irvington, go right. 3 miles down go left on Cardinal. At stop sign, go right on Nebraska. Go to the end and go left on Camino de la Tierra. Hedo Tucson is located on the right side of the street. You can't miss our peak. Distance: 135 miles from Phoenix (give or take 10 miles) or 8 miles from Tucson Airport Food and nekkid people provided. Call before you show up. Cher The Geeky Party Gal

I'm not really keen on committing the time and the bucks in advance on a weekend that could turn to shit. Don't even like wings that much. But, I do like my Hedo friends. If anyone DOES come to town for this event, I'd be all in favor of getting together, at Wingfest or otherwise. At Goose Island Brewery, you can get all the wings you want and NOT pay a cover charge......Jake

Well, as i said before, i *will* be in town for this event, and i believe i am going to a preparty, and i have a bus ride to and from the event back out to the Des Plaines area. So if you intowners decided to have a party i could probably manage to pour myself into it, since the wingfest itself doesn't sound like your sort of thing Zilla (who grew up in St Louis and now resides in Minnesota, so she doesn't let the weather dictate her plans or she would spend Jan through April never leaving her home)
