I always thought Obama was a fucking pinhead. But he's gone off the deep end now, even for him.
What is the purpose of the US government? First and foremost, it is to PROTECT AMERICANS, from all threats, foreign and domestic. EVERYTHING ELSE pales in comparison to that one purpose.
Yes, you can argue that most refugees are peace-loving, law-abiding folks. And I don't disagree with that. BUT SOME OF THEM ARE NOT!!! What benefit do we get from letting in peaceable refugees? NONE! What dangers do we get from letting in terrorists? LOTS!!! So to me, the conclusion is simple: DON'T LET ANY IN! There is no upside to letting them in, and a huge potential downside.
Do you lock your doors at night? Or when you go out in the daytime? Of course you do! The vast majority of people walking past your house are not robbers and thugs. But some of them are! So you protect yourself, just in case. The USA needs to do the same. That is the VERY FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT purpose of Government.
That some people don't get that, ESPECIALLY our so-called Commander In Chief, is just plain reprehensible.
