I will miss Ray Barboni. I hope they spell his name right in heaven.

I never saw many of his L&O episodes, but I loved loved loved him in "Crime Story." I even own the entire series (all TWO seasons) on DVD. A great character.
I wouldn't call him a great "actor," as he basically always played the same character, but he certainly played it well, and I always loved watching him. RIP, indeed.

A very sweet 90 second retrospective of his greatest lines. It goes right to the heart of what Jake says. He always played the same character using much of the same dialogue.

I liked him more than most actors, because he lived a REAL life, and only after accumulating a lifetime of experiences, became an actor. I've got to believe that that helped him to come across as totally believable on the screen.
