My old childhood buddy had to have emergency heart surgery in Guadalajara Mexico. Have never been so glad to see a Facebook posting from someone as hearing from him after surgery. We take our medical system her for granted.

I've always said, Guadalajara won't do.
Glad your buddy came through his ordeal.

The hospital is at least decent, but the operation was set for 9AM and had to be postponed until noon because the anesthesiologist overslept.

He was probably hungover. BTW, speaking of the Facebook posting, do we know of any cases where someone updated their Facebook status to say, "I've just passed away -- see you on the other side!" or something like that?

I have seen a Facebook friend post on her wall about her friend passing away. As she had tagged him I couldn't resist clicking on the link to his profile. Rather ironically his last status update had been from his hospital bed the night before saying how much better he was feeling!!
