Seven European earthquake experts were sentenced to six years in prison for failing to predict a recent quake which killed several hundred people. I could understand this better if this were like a tornado warning and these guys were drunk on the job and didn't relay the warning but earthquake prediction (as far as I know) is still iffy and experimental.
Unemployment is very high in most of Europe but still who would want that job now?

That's a couple of hundred miles south of me Tex. Of course I have been saying lately that the only way CA is going to clean up it's financial mess, is to have the big quake and fall into the Pacfic Ocean.
I would hate to be the weather man there that says a chance of rain by 10 but it starts at 9.

If my prediction doesn't pan out, it just means I need more funding so I will be hitting up all you guys.
