Anyone else watching this? Quite frankly, I thought that the first season was a little tame, considering the fact that it came from a former writer of The Sopranos. Season 2, IMO, was MUCH better. Tonight, season 3 premiered. When the episode started with Bobby Cannavale opening that guy's skull with a tire iron, that was enough for me to know that things were getting off to a good start.
Other thoughts?

Is this another HBO show? Sorry, cheap bastard here. I'm sure it's wonderful, but I'll never see it until it hits the proletariat networks.

DVR'd it for tonight. I should not admit this in public but I had to watch the final episode of Weeds last night. Just a shell of what it used to be but after eight years I had to bring it to a happy ending.

We are going to watch it during the week. It's been a great show the past two seasons.

Yet another great feature of HBO -- they replay the episodes all week!

I like that. You don't have to remember to DVR it.

And with shows like "Boardwalk Empire" and "The Sopranos", which are very rich and layered, you can watch them over again to catch whatever nuances you may have missed in the initial viewing.
