Very sad news today, guitar virtuoso Jeff Healy passed on. He suffered a rare ocular cancer which blinded him at 1, which apparently spread but fortunately for us took its' time and gave us 40 years of his unique (lap top) blues/rock guitar. He is yet another reason to love "Roadhouse" (Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot being the other two). There is a new album due out soon, if it is as good as Warren Zevon's parting shot, we are truly very lucky to have had him for while we have. I saw him once playing with Stevie Ray Vaugn , who is also no longer with us. We're outliving our rock & roll heros (except Keith Richards, who is somehow exempt).

He always made me think of "Roadhouse" as well. Great movie.
I should have put him on my deadpool list, but I didn't see it coming. Come to think of it, neither did he.......Jake

I love Roadhouse, it's one of those movies you can watch over and over.
Dalton "You play pretty good for a blind boy." Cody "And I thought you'd be bigger."

I have it on DVD and bring it with me on trips to Hedo in case I want to watch it on my portable player during the plane ride.
