I can't be the only Dr. Demento fan here. Any other Dementoids and Dementites on board? I've taken to recording his show every Sunday night and digitizing my favorite songs to mp3. What about the rest of youse guys?.......Jake

He used to be on one of the local stations here but they pulled him about 3 years ago. I haven't tried to see if he is on a station out of the Bay area.
Used to like his show when I listened to it.
Joe.

He's still on the air?!? I remember listening to him, Wolfman Jack, and Larry Lujack when I was a kid living in Chi-town. Geez, that was a loooong time ago.

When I could get my transistor radio tuned into WLS, I listened to Larry, WOlfman and the Dr. Mom didn't like me using up all the tin foil, so when I could sneak some, I was all over it!

When I could get my transistor radio tuned into WLS...... I still listen to WLS every day. Of course, now, they are conservative talk, but still......Jake

"My dog died...late last fall...he's still lying... in the hall.....Dead puppies aren't much fun.... A Dr. D. classic! "Dead Puppies" by Ogden Edsel. He is always both topical and timeless, all at the same time. Star Wars songs are dominating these days, along with Harry Potter parodies. If any of you have any classic songs you are dying to get a copy of, lemme know, I can email you an mp3. If I get around to it, I'll post a list of the ones I've harvested......Jake

I have 4 of his greatest hits CD's. Me and the kids know all the words and love to play them during travel. Or we'll still sing Dead Puppies around their friends and get the oddest looks and laughs!
Love The Homecoming Queen's got a gun! I don't get to listen to the radio station, but it sounds like a hoot!

I remember a song about chewing gum, "does your chewing gum lose it's flavor on the bed post over night".......this was almost 30 years ago.
