Someone I used to play billiards with all the time out at Paradise Lakes is dead. He was not that old, but I was told he lost his carpet business because of several DWIs and could no long drive his van. He was last seen collecting cans on the side of the road to make money from what I heard.
So long, buddy! We had some good times!

Sorry for your loss Bob and as far as the carpet business goes, it has very thin margins and lots of stress (not unlike any other endeavour) but what gets me is how much volume is needed to derive a modest living.
