We saw them play a concert last night in the street a block from the courthouse. This was a local outdoor festival street party held here every June. Three Dog Night is getting a little long of tooth but they pulled it off pretty well and played all of their old stuff. Good chance to hang around downtown and drink a few beers and chill.

Without a doubt, one of my favorite groups.
When I was in college, I sang in a group much like "Up With People." We went to Europe, Mexico and most every place on the east coast doing our routine. I sang "Pieces of April," which was a Three Dog Night tune.
I was in Las Vegas about a year ago and noted that they were playing nearby and so wanted to go, then realized I was a week early. DAMN!!
I hope it was good, Tex!!

Try a Little Tenderness is the first song I ever slow danced to. To this day, every time I hear that song I think of Sheri Steininger.

Those guys were super - major Icons. Not too many groups with as many hits. Good to hear they're still kicking. Chris
