Save Rock n RollUnreleased Jimmy Page Guitar Riff To Be Retrieved From Secret Vault To Save Rock And Roll GWYNEDD, WALES—Calling it the planet's last, best hope for saving rock music, the Guardians of the Protectorate of Rock announced Monday that they would take the extraordinary step of unleashing a never-before-heard Jimmy Page riff, hidden for decades in a mythic, impenetrable vault. "We who believe in the immortality of rock took a vow 30 years ago that we would never release this incredibly powerful force unless we faced a Day of Reckoning—and that day has come," said Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, one of the chosen few who helped forge the Secret Vault to Save Rock and Roll, at a press conference in the Welsh highlands. "Just look at the pop charts, and you shall know I speak the truth." "Let's give rock and roll its fucking balls back," he added.

And if anybody can do that, Jimmy Page can!! Jo (who probably went to see The Sound Remains the Same 12-15 times when it came out, before the era of VCRs. The day my brother called me to tell me that John Bonham had died and the Zepplin tour was cancelled (the tour I finally had tickets to!!) was a very dark day in this young girl's life )

My soon to be ex wife cut Jimmy Page's hair many moons ago when she was a young hairdresser. Sorry, just wanted to throw that in... as you were.
Simon (who has slept with someone who has cut Jimmy Page's hair)

I've been a Zep fan since the early 70's and was fortunate to see them twice.
When I came upon that article, I couldn't help but grin. It's a great joke, but so true. The music today sucks. It has no balls. I wish Jimmy Page would get together with Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and Jason Bonham and make a kick-ass rock album.
In my dreams.....

Cher, Don't stop dreaming, I've heard rumours of a Zep reunion tour in the works ~ if the Police and Genesis can get back together and make a shitload of money going on tour, maybe the greatest rock band in history will think about it. I do respect the band for calling it quits after they lost Bonham. Their stance that there is no Led Zepplin without all four of them showed the respect they had for each other (as opposed to the Who, who keep touring with smaller and smaller original members!) Jo (who couldn't stop staring at Robert Plant's jeans in all the group posters ~ why do you think I went to see that damn movie so many times? ) edited for spelling

Jo (who couldn't stop staring at Robert Plant's jeans in all the group posters ~ why do you think I want to see that damn movie so many times? ) He's still got that same bulge, but now it's from the truss he's been wearing after his hernia.
