Just a heads up, Sirius/XM channel 67 will be having an all day jazz marathon, featuring music recorded at Chicago, Montreal, Detroit, Telluride and Savannah jazz festivals. More info

Nope. I've had Sirius since December of 2005 (before the merger with XM).

Yo, Gordon -
Do you still subscribe?
The reason why I'm asking is because at the end of the winter, I left NYSE and now I'm working for SiriusXM.
So, if you need a "billing adjustment" ...

I just signed up for Siruis/XM. Didn't think I'd care about it really, but it was free for a few months with the new car. Driving a couple of hours per day, I found myself really enjoying it.

Yes Beeb I am still an avid listener. In fact I tracked down several replacement batteries and headset/antennas to keep my Stiletto going for a few more years. I like the Stiletto because I can tote it around with me, office, car, yard.
I wont listen to anything over the air anymore.
Do you get to rub elbows with Howard on the elevator?

Actually no, because I work in a different place altogether -- he works out of the building where the studios are, which is near Rockefeller Center (across the street from Fox News and just down the block from the NBC studios where they do the Today Show & Saturday Night Live). I work a few blocks west, near Madison Square Garden/Penn Station.
However, on my first day, I had to go to the building that houses the studios because that's where the corporate offices are, too -- I had to go through an orientation with their HR Dept. and fill out a bunch of forms. While bringing me to the office where they take the photo for your building ID Card, the HR Rep decided to give me a tour and she showed me many of the studios where the different channels are located. When you first walk in the door, the receptionist greets you and immediately to your right is the wing where Stern's offices and studio are located. In starting off the tour, she said to me, "I can take you everywhere except there (pointing to Stern's wing) because Stern doesn't allow visitors".
Maybe one day.

I don't have a car, I listen to it at home and online -- that's one of the perks of the job, I can listen to it while at work! They give you a free subscription upon hire -- if you already subscribe (as I do), then you can either get a 2nd subscription or convert your current subscription from paid to free. I haven't taken advantage of it yet, though -- I'm still listening through my original paid subscription. So, they don't need to convert me into a company man -- I was a believer in their service long before I took the job.
