Just in case anyone out there might still be interested, tomorrow night on The Travel Channel, the TV show "Bizarre Foods" will be in Jamaica.

What bizarre foods do they have in Jamaica? Goat's head soup is all I can think of that is on the strange side.

With the legions of Big Mac eaters in this great land, I bet Ox Tail Soup will be on the list.

My grandmother used to make that when I was a kid -- of course, I haven't had Ox Tail Soup in many years so I've forgotten what it tastes like, just remember that I loved it.

I noticed that Anthony Bourdain has been leaning towards more exotic foods and Bizarre Foods slightly toned it down. I don't think some of the selections qualify as food.. Bugs, elephant waste and assorted animal privates are a bit if a stretch even for the modern palate ;D

Hopefully they will feature brownies for dessert that make everything seem bizarre

Well bizarre it was. Chicken feet and cow skin soup. "Manly Soup" with key ingredients being goat head, penis and testicles. The countryside views were nice and the host narrated interesting history of the areas covered. Thanks for the heads-up BB.

BB, I didn't see the recipes for the more bizarre concoctions, I guess they don't post them? New "Manly Soup" catch phrase: Eats like a soup, taste like a wobbling goat penis! (because it is

We have that episode on DVR but haven't watched it yet; hopefully we'll have time today. I love Bizarre Foods and watch it regularly. Ron doesn't quite share my affinity for the show; he finds much of it gross, which it is. ;D. He does want to see the Jamaica episode, though.
