I actually heard a sort of good one on a Richmond VA radio station this week. It went something like:
The drinkin' bone's connected to the party bone. The party bone's connected to the stay out all night long. But she won't think it's funny and I'll soon be all alone. And the lonely bone's connected to the drinking bone......

When I met Art he was into rap stuff. NOT my bag at all, but he also liked Motown, so I ruled. About 5 years ago I caught him listening to country music. I was aghast. He always said he hated country music, now that's all he listens to.
He always make a point to make me listen to his newest favorite or one that reminds him of me or someone we know.
The latest one he had me listen to said it reminded him of me when we first were going together. It's something about how drinking Tequila make her take her clothes off......so true in my case.
Once I went to a Cubs game with the Midwest director of Freddie Mac, my appraiser, and a few business friends. We were doing shots of Tequila at Ziggy’s across the street after the game. By the end of the evening I had my bra wrapped around the directors head (like earmuffs), plumb naked from the waist up. Now this was BEFORE my Hedo days. That was the last time I drank more than ONE shot of Tequila. As a side note, the director, and I are good friends till this day.
BTW, I’ve gained an appreciation for country music over the past few years.

I've heard that if you play a country song BACKWARDS, you get your truck back, get your wife back, your dog comes back to life......

Yep Heidi, you've got the title right. Brian just LOVES country music. It's a recent obsession with him. I was always a metal head (big hair and all) so I don't get the fascination he has with it. I got this as an email and it cracked me up. It's really a joke. But Heidi, I do like that song "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy". It's by "Big and Rich". Great name for a band, huh. This band had a member who had an A.K.A. Cowboy Troy, who I think is the first black cowboy rapper. I'm not really into country western but their first CD was hilarous/great.
