Sadly students will only get credit for 3 hours
In the latest entertainment news, it appears actor James Franco will be studied as part of a class taught at the Columbia College Hollywood. Students will study how to edit various footage involving the 2011 Oscar Awards show host.
The website Showbiz Spy gives the latest details on this class which will be called "Master Class: Editing James Franco…with James Franco."
The movie footage will come from Franco's own footage which is mostly short films he directed. However, the real treat appears to be that the actor will be participating in the class with the students.
While the class will be taught by instructor Tyler Danna, students will get to interact with James Franco in weekly Skype sessions. The "127 Hours" star is also planning to drop by for several classes, as his schedule permits.
This sounds like quite the learning experience for students but may also cause intense pressure to perform. However, imagine the great feeling of completing a course which had an actual actor's name and presence behind it?
