Now if they would only pull the plug on pagers and America Online we might be able to get on with the 21st century

The marketing of "delivery in one day" is a pain in the ass and I think it's affected my business. People call me ridiculous deadlines and even though I meet the schedule, some realistic planning wouldn't hurt.
We have a selection of thousands of samples, since product can be produced and shipped so quickly, not even the manufacturers keep stock.
RIP -- Empire guy.

Now if they would only pull the plug on pagers and America Online we might be able to get on with the 21st century I deal with a purchaser who still uses a pager. When I need to speak to him I page him, then wait for him to either find a pay phone or get back to his office.

When I need to speak to him I page him, then wait for him to either find a pay phone or get back to his office. I remember those days. used to get back to the office and there would be messages on my answering machine or notes on my desk that someone called. The good old days...........................................................

No one had OBL this year. I guess Fidel will be checking here first also to see if his time has come in 2012.

I think we all gave up on OBL either because we downwardly set our expectations for figured he probably had already died but no one ever officially announced it to keep everyone in the dark about it.

Exactly. Even at stiffs.com, only 14 people had him on their lists. As opposed to 747 lists which had Zsa Zsa and 621 lists with Aretha.

I chalked up Seve last week too. Didn't say anything then because I felt bad about seeing him go. He was quite the golfer in his prime and one of my favorites.
