I am thinking he was either a Chicago or New York fan and yesterday was just too tough for him.
If I would have to guess I would say that he was a Chicago fan and on top of that Jay Culter was one of his clients. Double whammy

In reporting on Jack LaLanne's death this morning, Howard Stern said that as a final display of his incredible strength and fitness, Jack will be his own pallbearer.

That being the case, I wonder if he will entertain the grievers with a Jumping Jack flash.

Mr. LaLanne's last wish was to neither be buried nor cremated -- he will instead be processed by one of the juicers.

Jack LaMorte.
Actually, if you think about it, was his lifestyle really all that healthy? Sure, he lived to 96. But George Burns lived to 100, and his health regime consisted of cigars and booze.

Follow Tony Bourdain's advice: "When I wake up in the morning, first thing I do is check the obituaries -- if Keith Richards hasn't died yet, then I make no ch-ch-changes in my lifestyle".

I don't buy all this Charlie Sheen health scare crap. I think it's nothing but publicity stunts to promote his TV show.

I'll bet a lot of people don't even remember him; he's been off the radar for a long time. Here is a short hysterical bit of his from The Tonight Show, talking about Playboy centerfolds....(video halfway down the page) www.newsfromme.com/archives/2011_01_28.html#020145PS - Georgette - congratulations!

In my opinion Frye did a MUCH better Nixon than his more notable contemporary Rich Little. Little was more versatile however and stood the test of time, while Frye faded into obscurity when Nixon left office.
I had both of Frye's notable albums (I am the President and Radio Free Nixon) at one time. The most memorable track was Frye doing Nixon singing Sinatra's "My Way"

Pass the butter! I don't know about you, but this sad news makes me feel rather old ... Would this movie still get an X Rating today? Doubt it.

Yes it makes me feel old.
It has a NC 17 rating according to Netflix.

When the movie was released back in the early '70's, it was assigned an X Rating (not unlike "Midnight Cowboy"), primarily because the NC-17 rating didn't exist back then. NC-17 is a little more accurate rating, but still, if it was released today with that rating, business would suffer. Historically, movies with an NC-17 rating don't do well at the box office, regardless of the critics' reviews.
