Given the eclectic tastes (musical and otherwise) of the folks on this here message board (yep, that's this one, not the other one), I find it both perplexing and distressing that no one has made mention of my own personal musical mentor, Red Peters. This is a great injustice which I feel the need to correct immediately. I urge you all in the strongest possible way to try a sampling from his debut album .... I Laughed, I Cried I Fudged My Undies ... or even his haunting and lovely tribute to Sinatra ... Ol' Blue Balls Is Back!Do it. Do it right NOW.

OK! Time to revive a long-dead thread ... Now that we've had embedded YouTube videos for a while now, it's high time we sampled some of the musical stylings of The One And Only Red Peters ... The Ballad Of A Dog Named Stains The audio from this clip is lifted from an old Howard Stern show, back in the days when he was on terrestrial radio

I never heard of Red Peters. The Ballad Of A Dog Named Stains is sad and hilarious. (what a mixture)
