I thought you guys would get a smile out of this mailbox set up. It's in a nice neighborhood and the home was well kept despite the possible code violation.

There is nothing wrong with that setup that a good old fashioned M-80 firecracker couldnt fix

Reminds me of a CSI episode about "mailbox baseball." Young punks would drive around residential streets, smacking curbside mailboxes with a bat as they went by.
One dude, upset at this happening several times, built a new mailbox with a secret foundation of cement. The next time the punks swung at it, one broke his arm and the driver crashed. Don't remember for sure but I think they both died.
Amazingly, the dude who built the mailbox was arrested for murder!

I know a local kid who had a budding baseball pitching career. He was supposed to start pitching for a Florida University in his freshman year. One night while out with his friends he did exactly what Jake mentioned and the bat severely broke his arm. That single incident changed his career path. He's now an electrician.

Amazingly, the dude who built the mailbox was arrested for murder! I remember that episode, but wasn't there some other reason besides the mail box? I don't exactly recall. Joe
