Saw this one over the weekend and loved it! Sure to be a TNMC Classic, this contains plenty of blood, action, violence and comedy -- and that's just in the first scene!
Here's my recommendation:
Go to a multiplex, buy yourself a ticket for this movie and buy a ticket for "Eat, Pray, Love" for your lady, then tell her that you'll meet her in the lobby after both movies end.
BTW, heard the box office results for the weekend and this movie opened #1. How great is it that Stallone beat America's Sweetheart Julia Roberts on her big opening weekend? LOVE IT!

Seen this tonight here in Minneapolis at the Mall of America, blew a couple extra bucks on the D-Box Seat... WELL WORTH the extra couple bucks, JUST for the shotgun scene...
The cast was pretty much the who's who of action movies, I think the only ones they missed were Chuck Norris and Clint Eastwood.
The plot is pretty simple... shoot em up, shoot em up, guy chases girl, shoot em up, guy beats the shit outta other guy who hit his girl, car chase, shoot em up, buildings blowing up...
Not exactly a "brainy" movie, but if you want to see some good action... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Watched it this weekend. Not bad, good action flick. Stallone is starting to show his age. Maybe in the Expendables 2 they will use Arnold more now that is is unemployed.

Finally saw this movie tonight on Netflix. I think the old geezers got together and said, "Let's make a movie with every possible action cliche, and try not to think too hard about it." And they did. And it worked! Loved the character names: Hale Caesar, Lee Christmas, Yin Yang, James Munroe, and of course, Tool!
Also, this is probably the first movie ever made in Hollywood where the conservatives outnumbered the liberals.
Now, have to rent #2. And I hear #3 is in the works... with Nic Cage!!
One problem: if they are "expendable," how can there be sequels?
