I have had a Post Office Box there since 1976 for business use. For the last 34 years this has been my first stop every morning on my way to the ranch. I picked some mail early Staurday morning at 6:00AM but the mail put out later in the day most likely went up in flames. There is lots of history on that building. For years when I was a kid it was the local Safeway Store, then it became the Post Office about 40 years ago. In the winter on many cold mornings when I would stop by at 6:00AM you could almost find a homeless person sleeping there. Son of a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I hope they rebuild it. They have an annex office which is going to be temporally set up as the old office was. Joe This was at 5:30 Saturday night This what was left Sunday morning Post Office Fire

If rigor mortis sets in, do you think anyone will notice the mail being delivered any more slowly?

What ever that post office saying was about delivery, fire wasn't one of them.

Hey Koe - for all the taxes you guys pay out there can't they afford a fire department? Yeah, we do have 4 engines and a ladder truck and they are about 3 blocks away,(small blocks), but they still had to get help from 4 neighboring cities. We have more engines than fire fighters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joe
