Anyone watch L&O:CI? I never used to; the few times I'd seen it, the Vincent D'Onofrio character just turned me off. To ponderous and glum and humorless.
But recently, they've been including Jeff Goldblum as a detective, periodically. If I could catch one of his episodes, I'd watch it. But they seemed rare.
Well, this new season (just beginning this month), they are apparently phasing out the D'Onofrio team and moving Goldblum and his partner into the main slot. I'm expecting good stuff and plan to watch. Especially since L&O Prime is rarely ever on anymore and is only a shadow of its former self when it is.
Anyone else?.......Jake

I hate the Vincent D'Onofrio character also. We haven't watch it in some time.

We watched it last night. I hope that Jeff Goldblum will do a great job.
As far as the original, S. Epatha Merkerson is leaving at the end of the season.

CI has always been the low show on the L&O viewability for me too. Never cared for the creature. Ive pretty much abandoned "Prime" when Dennis Farina came on to replace Orbach, and the current cast in the DA's office seem to be totally inept and too flawed to take seriously.

I quit watching when Farina was on because I didn't like him too much, but I'm back now.
