OK ... so, here's the thing ...
I found all of the games this weekend to be pretty boring and predictable ... with the exception of Jets/Chargers.
Now, am I being prejudiced because I'm a Jets fan?
If so, I'm sure I'll hear it from plenty of others (bring it, Merlot).
IMO, these games were just dull, dull, dull (Cowboys/Vikings arguably the worst, but both games Saturday were close).
Your thoughts?
AFC/NFC Conference predictions, anyone?
Who's playing Feb. 7?

Hey man, no problems with the Jets here.
I have to say I am kind of pulling for the Saints. That franchise has been in the shit bucket since day one and this could be their chance to finally make it to the big game.
Saint- Jets would be okay with me. The only problem the Jets have is someone named Manning plays for the Colts.

Yeah, pitchers & catchers doesn't sound too bad to me, either, but it's sure nice to have this little distraction in the meantime ...
BTW, I still think it'll be the two best teams -- Saints v. Colts -- in The Big One.
We'll see how it plays out ...

Prediction for NFC Championship Game: Brees vs. Favre will be a shoot-out not to be missed ... looking forward to a 45 - 40 kind of game ...

Games watched, Jets/Bengals, Eagles/Cowboys, Green Bay/Arizona, Colts/Ravens, Jets/Chargers, Cowboys/Vikings. I see a Colts/Saints Super Bowl in the making and hoping the Jets are peaking the best and become the SPOILER!!!
psssst........ RIP Bears DE Gaines Adams (cardiac arrest caused by an enlarged heart)

I was impressed with the Jets yesterday and their continued strong effort. It was the exact opposite of Dallas which slipped into a dejected mode in the first quarter. Confidence is critical in every sport and you must play the entire 60 minutes, 9 innings or whatever clock is used.

I am not going to throw the Jets out of this yet. They are playing the spoiler and sometime Mr. Manning has a tough time in big games.

The Jets are playing with house money and have nothing to lose, so it could turn out to be one of those anything can happen games -- but they'll need some luck, like they did yesterday with the SD placekicker choking on all of those field goal attempts.

San Diego chokes every year in the playoffs. They kick ass in the regular season but can't win the ones that really count. They lost it before it even started.
