Fuckers got me again. Tomorrow for the 4th time in 6 years. Why don't they get someone who gives a shit. I have more important things to do than sit around the court house waiting for God in his/her black robe to decide what the fuck they are going to do.
I think they should get the unemployed and those on welfare to do this shit. They are already getting paid so they would save their $15.00 per day. Look at the money they could save.......
Last time myself and about 75 other poor souls stood outside a court room in the hallway with no chairs, for 2 fucking days waiting for this asshole bitch judge to make up her mind if she was going to want a jury or not. After two days all we got was your done you can go home. No thank you, kiss my ass, or anything else. Bitch.
STOP WASTING MY FUCKING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fucker is guilty no matter what. Cops don't arrest innocent people. Why are we wasting time and money here your honor. That should get me out of there real fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just tell them you hope the defendant is black, because then you will know he's guilty without having to listen to the testimony. That'll get you home for lunch.

Jake, that only works once they get you into the court room. When youre standing around in the hallway waiting for forever, you need another strategy.
I suggest a lot of eye shifting, nervous walking back and forth, talking to yourself to the point of a heated argument. If that doesnt work, violently take off you coat, stuff it in a garbage receptacle then run down the hallway screaming "fire in the hole"... that should get you out of jury duty, I dont guarantee you wont see the inside of a courtroom however.

I had to serve jury duty a couple of weeks ago in Brooklyn -- it only lasted one day and at least they let us sit down.

Fuckers got me again. Tomorrow for the 4th time in 6 years Wow!! In the UK you can only do jury duty once in your life. You can usually talk your way out of it the first time you are called up, but you then go onto a list that will ensure your name comes back to the top of the pile again very quickly, and the second time you are called you are unlikely to be allowed to wriggle out of it. Now that I was called in recently, that ensures I won't get another summons again for at least eight years.

Over the years, I have gotten notice 4 times that my name was on the list for a particular year, and that I could be called in during the next 12 months, but never gotten the call. Its like playing the lottery, I doubt that I can go 5 for 5 and the next one could be it.

Well I got kick out. The case was about an auto accident that happened here 2 years ago in which 5 people died. It was a media circus back then and the driver of the car that killed the 5 people was found at the time to be over the limit on alcohol and also under the influence of cocaine. The asshole is pleading not guilty, do you fucking believe that.
Any way I was able to fill out a form based on the media reports of the case at the time of the accident. I stated that since he was found over the limit and under the influence of cocaine according to the media reports that it would be impossible for me to form an unbiased opinion of the case, since the media information is always correct and they never lie. It took about 45 minutes after I turned in the form to get kick out of there.
There was about 300 people there this morning just for this case. 90% filled out the same form that I did.
That clears me from jury duty for one (1) year. Next November 24th I am back on the list again.
Denice just got nailed for jury duty for March.
