Thanks to a brilliant suggestion by Simon, we now have a dedicated sub-board for posting of photographic creations. If you took a photo that you want to share, or finessed a Photoshop project that you are particularly proud of, or have any other sort of 2-D artistic masterpiece that you want to propagate, post it here! I made this a sub-board, rather than a full board, because our main page is already a lot longer than it should be, and I didn't want it to get any more unwieldy than it already is. But please don't take that as a slight; I have loved photography for a long, long time, and consider this a very worthwhile board. So please enjoy it as a fully-endorsed forum of the TNMC (or whatever it's branded as these days). As you can see, I moved it to be a full-fledged board, despite my misgivings about making the front page unwieldy. We'll just have to see how it goes!I gave it a temporary name (Shutterbug Chalet) just as a place-holder. I'm not sure I like it. Not nearly naughty enough, or at least laden with some sly sexual innuendo (like "Between the Covers" or "Cook Teasers," heh heh). It is easy to ch-ch-change. So, if you have suggestions for a better forum title, lemme know! That might even be worth its own thread. (I have lots of sub-par ideas of my own, but am more interested in other peoples' ideas. My random thoughts off the top of my head: Pixel Palace, F-Stop Fitzgerald's, Aperture Alley, Lensman's Lair, Girls On Film, Image-Inarium, even "Photo Phorum", and ad nauseum....) Clearly, my name didn't stand. But I like the new one a lot. Also - let's talk about Simon's idea of a periodic contest on a photographic theme. How can we implement that? Anyway, it's time to post away! I'm looking forward to all of your images......Jake

Glad to see you're not eating those oil saturated things and are only using them as props.
Today I will take a picture.

Howzabout "Over Exposed" or "Expose Yourself" or "Double Exposure" or some variation on that idea?

Great idea! You guys might regret it though - Since I bought my DSLR last Dec, I've taken almost 10,000 pics with it and that doesn't even touch the ones I already had in my photo archive.
Will be fun and I look forward to seeing what you guys have to share.

Also to keep in mind: If you want to save yourself a couple of mouse clicks, you can set the Sub-Board to display as part of the main Generally Speaking Board by modifying your profile as such ...
Expand Sub-Boards: No/Yes | If you wish to have all sub-board's posts display in the parent board, select "Yes." |
If you put this setting to "Yes", then my understanding about how this works is that you won't have to click into the Sub-Board to see posts in that forum -- I believe they will just appear as though it is part of Generally Speaking (a feature you may or may not want to have ... your mileage may vary ... ) -- Hedo DiveMaster Bukkake

Regrettable way to start a weekend, terribly informative, concise, and in general, helpful ... Red Card

Oh oh.. there is a red flag on the field now.. Gary is calling for a review of the play. If the decision that information intended to be helpful turned out to be bogus holds, it could mean a SECOND RED CARD for Beeb

Yes, I tried it and yes, it's working for me. What browser/version are you using? I've tried it in IE7 but haven't yet had a chance to look at it in Firefox. I've noticed that sometimes, some of the features ProBoards adds can be somewhat version specific (at least at first).
