3-3 with one game left....in a way I'd like to see Detroit win...at least they'd have the Cup since they can't win a football game. BUT....I am rooting for the Penguins!

At last. DD Ive been dragging people into this conversation in the NBA Finals thread.
Tuesday's game was one of the best Ive seen recently, and a great recovery for the Pens. They put in their claim for the cup with that game, but playing game 7 in Detroit will be a very tall order for them. Tomorrows game should be a great one, but if Detroit pounces on them hard in the first period and gets a lead, it could be all over by the first intermission.

Can we also talk about basketball in a hockey thread since we have a game 4 tonight before your game 7 tomorrow night?
I like the idea of multi tasking with multiple topics in a single thread.
If Simon wants to jump in we could also mix in a little Andorra - England soccer talk. I personally think my Pyrenees buddies were robbed.

Well I guess we can talk about anything we want except painted toe nails.... I thought you could paint their toe nails as long as you refrained from doing it while they were having sex on the bar.

Hard to paint hockey players toe nails unless they have open toe skates

And make sure you aren't in a covered area when you have that after sex smoke. And don't use my towel!!

After two periods its been an awesome game on both sides with the goal tending of Fleury being spectacular and the Penguin defense keeping the pretty well tied up. Wings down 2-0, hope the can make the come back, but right now the best team is ahead.
Edited: Well, the Wings scored to make it an exciting finish, but couldnt complete the comeback. The best team won, Pittsburgh's defense and Fleury were incredible, absolutely dominating the center of the ice in front of their net. A truly great game to watch

Being a new hockey fan I thought it was an excellant series. And iffn Pitsburgh's goalie hadn't made that save in the final four seconds, I'd say it would have probably made it one of Hockey's great Stanley Cup game.

Canuck fans seemed a tad upset. So much for Canadians being nice.

Probably had the jet's engines warming up before the 3rd period ended.
150 people injured at last report. This also happened in Vancouver in 94 when they lost the Stanley Cup.
