Whooo Hooo, Good games on tonight. Started with Cubs and flipped channel when they busted out with 3 runs in the first. Went right to hockey and stayed with that game till the end (other than switching to the Cubs and the Laker's during commercials) Well Gordon, Pittsburgh sent youse guys a message, it will take 7 to beat them. BTW, I'm pulling for youse guys.
I stayed with the NBA after the hockey game. Orlando told the Laker's not in my home court tonight. (another good game)
I'm looking forward to game 7 in hockey, and game four in basketball.
psssst..... Cubs win, and jumped into second place. Whoooo Hoooo!!!!!

DT, last nights game was the best of the series by far (the last minute was fantastic action/drama with the Detroit goalie pulled)!! No question that Pittsburgh rebounded big time after game 5 in Detroit. Two great goalie performances. I would much rather watch a 2-1 game like last night, than a 7-6 game. Quality play all the way around.
Fridays game could be the best Stanley Cup Game in years!

Put the brooms away Joe. You still have a shot at your six prediction. But I still love my Magic in 6 or 7.
And in the spirit of multi discussions within one thread:

Lakers take it for the 2008-2009 Championship. Number 15 for the franchise and maybe the first of a couple in a row.

Joe, You are killing me. You win last night and you are already talking next year. I don't have the energy to talk smack this far out.
Congrats on this one for now.
Oh well, I am off to cheer on my Tigers in the College World Series. I am liking my chances better there.

Potential big bump...
Rumors flying that there has been a big deal that sends Shaq to Cleveland. Shaq and LeBron on the same team... could be VERY interesting.

Shaq is not going to help Cleveland to the NBA Championship. He is way to old and will be of no help. James is gone after his contract runs out next year. Joe
