The Cardinals put up a great fight. The Steelers better be thankful for their luck tonight.

Yep, but a great finish nevertheless. This is one that put the "Super" in Super Bowl!

The only thing that might've "spoiled" it in a sense was the number of penalties, especially in the final minutes. It got a little sloppy.

John Madden just said it all. It was a super Super Bowl. It wasn't the Eagles, but as a Pennsylvanian, I'm happy.

It was a good Super Bowl. The party continues across the street. My stepson's company and some others went together to bring in a big recreation vehicle and a tent and big screens and lots of booze and goodies. The stepson and DIL are not even going home. They'll just sleep there (if they sleep).

HEY THATS MY TURF
Great game, but I question whether either team really wanted to win the game at times. Both teams had mind boggling moments of shear brilliance and shear stupidity (sometimes at almost the same time). No question that Warner would like one pass back, but the Cardinal defense 7 downs and goal defensive stand was the high point of the game for me (personal foul that gave Pittsburgh the second four downs not withstanding).

Probably just my perception, but it seems like in these high profile games, the officiating seems to favor the team with the well-known "stars." But it was beginning to even out toward the end.
What I liked was that neither team gave up. Seconds to go, and still playing for it all.
I sure wish my team could do that. My team, when it's on the line and you have to score, usually hands off to a back who gets dropped for a loss, then a check-off pass to the sideline (or throw it away, or take a sack), and then finally a hail mary pass which gets intercepted.
But my team will have a new coach and a new general manager coming in. So, maybe in about 10 years of "rebuilding," I can see my team in a Supe Bowl again.

I think we all pretty much know what my team (Eagles) does in critical games. The stink out the stadium. JMHO

Well, at least they got to the dance. Well, with Arena Football on hold, I guess the only football of note until late summer will be Spring Training for college, and the NFL draft.

I like the Arena League. Fast moving, high scoring, and some hard hitting.

Yeah, I like it, too. Marge and I were season ticket holders for a while with the Tampa Bay Storm (and still are for the Bucs).

Ok so I'm a little lost here..Watching the game..Second quarter end's with a great run.. Touch down...HOW did the steelers get 7 points out of that ?...Did any body see the 1 point Kick?..I even looked at the play by play on NFL.com...No Mention of a kick ! Was there some obscure rule that took over because the clock ran out ? Did anybody else notice that too.....

Yes, I saw it. There was a lot of celebration shown, and they reviewed the play, so there was a delay, but when the call was confirmed, the point after was made. Even though time has expired, the point after try is still allowed.
