I do recall Halo Burger in Flint Michigan... never figured out where that name came from, and the Wagon Wheel on Woodward Ave... oh yes the Beef-A-Roo (sounds like dog food to me) I believe its a chain similar to Arby's

I have been going to this place for years because they have a great all-you-can-drink brunch on weekends ...

Great examples, Beeb! Good stuff.
I remember one joint in Boca Raton that I used to go to, called Dirty Moe's Oyster Boat. I think I still have a t-shirt from them somewhere.......Jake

He did ... until he was traded to the Mets.

Slightly off topic ... (jeez, I hope my post don't get deleted!) Back in 1987, I vacationed in Acapulco and discovered a Mexican bakery with an interesting name ...

Maybe we can come up with a real bad restaurant name for it. I know "BEANED".

... Except he didn't get the concussion from being hit by a pitch -- it happened when he ran into the outfield wall catching a fly ball at Dodger Stadium on their last West Coast visit. Maybe that's what you call the restaurant -- "The Warning Track"!

It might work if it has one of those old school moving neon signs showing someone running into a wall and falling down.

I have walked by this place a couple of dozen times. It's on Sukhumvit Soi 12 in Bangkok a few doors down from where our friends used to live. (They had a kid and moved to bigger digs on Sukhumvit Soi 10 a couple of blocks over) We did not eat there but my friend's dad told me it was a very good restaurant. Austin has a hamburger place named "Martin's Kumback" or "Dirty's" or "Dirty Martin's" depending on who you are talking to. It was been doing good business since the 1920s so I guess the name doesn't run anyone off.

Maybe that's what you call the restaurant -- "The Warning Track"! Nah, we can called it "Pussy's" because only a pussy gets a concussion for running into the wall. A broken nose, broken shoulder, or a broken face is acceptable, but a concussion is for pussy's.
