cat in a room full of rocking chairs. I have probably the biggest photoshoot I have ever done in the morning. I am shooting a model wearing a $3k wedding gown... We are doing this in a big empty church. I will have MANY onlookers... the building owner, the seamstress, makeup artist, hairdresser, models sister, and probably my WIFE!! Not to mention that this is a do or die situation for me, I offered to shoot this gratis with hopes of getting in good with the seamstress to shoot more of her stuff on a PAID basis and referrals for more work. So I have laid out some money for the location, the hair and makeup, and the model. My out of pocket is about a grand, it is a gamble, but I am confident my skills will make this pay off, at least I hope it does. I will post some results tomorrow night.

Good luck! Remember to keep your left arm straight, and follow through.
No, wait; that's something else. Ummm... just remember to remove the lens cap!

No wonder he won't talk to the cops yet... they can't even get their story straight between them about which club she was beating him with. Simon Rumor has it he's posted a message saying "I refuse to speak to the police because they have the club wrong that my wife was beating me with." That explains a lot! ;D ;D

Yes, but his caddy recommended the eight iron. After admitting to his infidelity, Woods requested a Mulligan.

Hey RH - I really like the first image, but I would crop out the sliver of stained glass window. It isn't enough to make it part of the image, and it sort of robs the image of the mystery of where the awesome lighting is coming from. Just MHO, of course.......Jake

Nice pics Rh!! But Jake is right about the first one. There is not enough of the window to make it a feature of the picture, so instead it is fighting with the girl for the viewer's attention. Far better to remove it altogether by cropping the picture tighter, then rather than the girl looking at the window there will now be a sense of mystery as you won't be able to see what (or who) has got her attention.

Ok, I couldn't resist quickly cropping it to show what I meant : or keep all of the seat in : Simon

Great shots RH!
Not to nit-pick, but...
In shot #1 the bottom edge of the model's slip is visible thru the dress. A simple color correction to bring it in line would eliminate that.
And to REALLY nit-pick -- She's lacking an engagement ring. That might be pretty difficult to clone in, so I'd let it go.

I think I like the one with the stained glass.

I'd leave the entire seat in. Three reasons: 1) Rule of thirds 2) It's a big "you are here" for the viewer - as if she is inviting them to come and sit down with her. 3) Leaves space for the ad copy.

Maybe if there's a shot on the couch where it's visible (assuming she wore it throughout the shoot) RH could copy it and Photoshop it onto her left hand. Simon

I'd leave the entire seat in. Three reasons: 1) Rule of thirds I 100 percent agree Jake. Leaving the entire seat in conforms to the rule of thirds and makes the composition perfect. Simon

As far as the first image, yes I am going to revisit the crop. The model whom you all seem to like her look is amazingly beautiful, she has this very classic far eastern look about her that you can do so many things with. I have already talked to her about doing a series of B/W images similar to the Shhhh! one.
