Geeze, I kind of like jdwinelovers but if I have to choose one, I guess it would be Merlot Joe if those are the choices. When's the christening?

I voted for "Merlot Joe", although I thought of "Uncle Joe" from the old "Petticoat Junction", but that's dating me.

I can't stand Merlot's taste, but the rhyme is nice and it quickly reminds us of your vocation (just as mine--Stinko--reminds BB of me).

Is this a name you are looking for the baby to call you or just to ch-ch-change on the TNMC? If it is one for the baby I hate to tell you but she will call you whatever she wants and you will love it!!! I like Grandpa Joe the best but that was not a choice given. PapaJoe reminds me of the old wino down at the corner store when we were growing up.... scary old dude. Patty

Great Avatar, Patty--laughed my head off--I remember that issue! laughed?!?! why? do we not look the same in person? Quite a few years ago that Patti Davis lived local and used a local spa regularly, I booked an appointment there, gave my name & waited to be called. The masseur came into the waiting room looking confused because he was looking for his regular customer, the other Patti Davis.

I have used it on my e-mail for years and someday will ch-ch-change that. It means Past District Governor. I was a District Governor for Lions International in 1988-89. The PDG is a designation they give you after you leave office. Joe

Here's a good movie trivia name for you, Joe: Diddle-Eyed-Joe.
I don't know what the fuck it means, but Quentin Tarantino apparently likes it. He used it in Reservoir dogs:
Holdaway (Randy Brooks):
and in True Romance....
Drexl Spivey (Gary Oldman):

I thought 'Beaujolais Joe' has a nice ring to it. Do you grow those grapes too Joe? Known as Gamay Beaujolais in California, right?
Anyhow, it's not on the list, so I went with Merlot Joe.
