I must have pissed somebody off, as my karma has been dwindling away here as of late. I was all the way up to 15, now a measley 11. Ok, so I might have pissed off 4 people or, maybe just one person 4 times ;D

If it makes you feel any better, my karma has been stuck at 4 for quite some time. Probably because I'm not on much. I've also noticed that Jake's Karma is dwindling, too? What's up with that ~DJ

I think if more Americans would take a bit more time out of thier busy schedules to educate themselves and then cast an educated vote on election day our country wouldn't be in the mess it is in today!!

If you would take the time to EDUCATE yourself, you'd see things ain't as bad as Lib'ruls say!! =========================== December Starts With Strong Stock Rally Thursday, December 01, 2005 NEW YORK — Wall Street had an auspicious start to December Thursday, with stocks soaring as investors welcomed inflation-friendly economic data and hoped the November rally would continue through year-end. The Dow Jones industrials rose 106.70, or 0.99 percent, to 10,912.57. The move higher nearly reversed the market's previous three days of losses. Broader stock indicators also rose sharply. The Standard & Poor's 500 index added 15.19, or 1.22 percent, to 1,264.67, and the Nasdaq composite index surged 34.35, or 1.54 percent, to 2,267.17. www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,177378,00.html ===================================== We are in one of the BEST Stock booms of recent years. Do you suppose the LIB'RUL PRESS is gonna tell you about it? HELL NO!!! Just WHO needs education??? ..........Bob

Point well taken, RH. And that is exactly why I rarely vote. I don't have the time to read all there is about the candidates to make an educated choice of whom should run what! As for your Karma, I think someone is just messing with you! ~DJ~

Bob, I have this feeling that you think I lean to the left. Truth be known I tend to lean a bit to the right, but for the most part I am a middle of the road kinda guy. I agree that the economy is definatly on the upswing, I own a business, and it shows.

Bob... If you count recent as in the last 5 years maybe... lets look at the charts... Dow Jones Industrials Click for Dow Jones GraphNasdaq Click for Nasdaq GraphS&P500 Click for S&P500 GraphAnd all indices are well below record highs. If the stock market is 'booming', its only been in the last month or so, and that is part of short term cycles (its the end of the year, and there is a LOT of tax related portfolio trading going on right not)... it will be back down in February. Gordon PS.. Sorry Bob, I just have a load of snow up my butt right now

Sorry Bob, I just have a load of snow up my butt right now Sorta busted Bob's bubble butt ;D That was like claiming the fall in gas prices is so big...well look at where the high's were.... The gas companies got us to where they needed to. We are paying $2.00 a gal and thinking nothing about it and remember being thankful to see $2.50. They have done us a huge favor.....all because they like us.

PS.. Sorry Bob, I just have a load of snow up my butt right now Uhm......Gordon. Check you temperature. You must be delirious!! If you take a looky at your graphs, look hard at the line to the far right of the graphs that is well above the rest of the graph on the left. That would mean the market is higher on the right side than the left. That is a good thing. I figured Lib'ruls had this basic idea down, but silly me for assuming such. Sorry. Well let's see. Unemployment is around 5%, the last quarter saw jobs created like crazy, consumer confidence is UP and even with the Hurricanes, the economy is humming along JUST FINE!! Oh sorry....SO SORRY Lib'ruls.....I KNOW that just CHAPS YOUR ASS!!! It COULDN'T be 'cuz of Bush!! NO NEVER!! ...........Bob

Some folks are praying for disaster (while deny loudly that they are doing any such thing). I had thought the golden age of the tap dance had disappeared with vaudeville.

Its part of the short term cycle of stocks, there is no boom there.

Over the year the overall trends of the Nasdaq and S&P500 charts does appear to be upwards, even accounting for the short term stock cycle.
