(GREAT GOD, how did I NOT see this?) Because you look at everything with only one eye open (the right one, of course).

Back on thread here.
Well our daughter called tonight and said that they had picked out names for the baby.
Both Denice and I are extremely happy with their choices.
If it's a boy: Joseph Sean
If it's a Girl: Ruby Denice
Sorry you guys will most likely get tired of hearing this Grandparent crap from me.
To bad learn to live with it. ;D ;D
Joe.

Sorry, Joe, but those names suck. The kid should be named Jake Hedo Winelovers, whatever gender it ends up being. You're welcome......Jake

Oh. OK. You guys are right. I suck. I am a bitch (and not in a good way). I guess I'll just go kill myself now. But instead of me crying out by myself "goodbye cruel world", you guys can cry out "goodbye cruel Denise" and that will be a fitting memorial. Whatever. I suck, but some of you suck more. You just have more restraint when posting. Cummulatively, yeah, chastise me. But I really didn't think that a link to fart sounds was appropriate for a happy thread about an impending first grandchild. Shoot me for class.
Also, as my parting words, please beware - the enemy you know you can resist, it is the enemy you DON'T know that you must be wary of. After all, we all know "keep your friends close; your enemies closer"
Fare thee well!

"You can call me Roy. You can call me Boy. Just don't call me Leroy"
Like the names Joe except for Ruby. Denice Ruby a lot better. Iffin, the name Ruby is important.

Denise, you'll be back. You always come back. You can't resist us.
BTW: You are correct when you say we have more restraint when posting. Jake has often teased me about never having an unspoken thought, but I think that comment would be better directed toward you.
Sure, most of us likely have a sucky side, but friends forgive one another their suckiness and move on by focusing on the good stuff. When someone becomes an enemy, the window of forgiveness narrows.
We could all forgive one another (WWJD--just kidding, I'm an atheist existentialist), but that likely requires asking for forgiveness and apologizing.
Leaving us with a threat gives us more insight into your character. So apparently we know you better than you think. Caution is a two-way street.

Not if she understands that message boards are like restaurants. You don't like the food or service. You don't go back to them.

Sorry you guys will most likely get tired of hearing this Grandparent crap from me. To bad learn to live with it. ;D ;D Well, gee. I dunno if I can learn to live with it, Joe. You see, according to someone who thinks they know everything about my reproductive system, I'm barren ... a very sore subject for me. I simply can't be happy for anyone with children and grandchildren ... and I cannot tolerate any more gibberish from you or anybody else on the subject. Maybe I'll just say "fare thee well" and "good bye" a dozen times before I really mean it and then finally high-tail it outta here. <shrug> HA! Gotcha! Joe, I like the name choices your daughter and her hubby have made for your grandchild-to-be. I'm guessing it's a combination of both sets of grandparents names, sí o no? You go ahead and keep gushing like the proud grandpa you're about to become! I speak only for myself when I say I'd enjoy reading as many updates as you'd like to post.

Joe~ Congrats on the new baby. I'll make sure and pop a good bottle of wine and drink it in your family's honor. Sounds like a good reason to celebrate.....as if I need one My daughter just got engaged a week ago. Hopefully, in a few years, I can celebrate becoming a grandma. For now, I can be a grandma to Rick's grandkids....they are so sweet. Damn...I must be getting old....and sentimental too. Hugs~ Cher

Get out of the bottle and get some happy pills.......geeeeezzzzz!
Then again...DON'T! I'm guaranteed some form of exercise as I sit here and shake my head in amazement.

Thanks Hazel, Don't let that Drunk get to you. Actually no on the names, just Denice and I on the names. Well there most likely will not be anymore up date until the baby gets here. That will be sometime around the first week of February. Don't worry, grandapa has his new digital camera ready and I will be posting pictures here for all to see. Denice and I thank you all, for the support. Joe.

I guess I'll just go kill myself now. Fare thee well! . . .Well she wasn't in too much of a hurry - she had to write one more post at 2.22 am. Too funny! LOL Edited to add: This is not a "Grandparents" topic and is being relocated.

Hey it looks on topic to me... That in itself is a good enough reason to relocate it somewhere else. ;D

Editted to add: Jake shouldrelocate these threads around at random, just for the head games aspect, keep the occasional reader confused (or... more confused), and keep the regulars alert with mental processes active to help stave off mental atrophy as we cruise throughold age.

Hey Joe - By the way . . . . Congratulations! It still blows me away that my peers are "grandparents". I think we are so very different than the grandparents we had growing up, such as the perception that they were old and we know this is just not the case here! In any event - a subscription to "Grandparents" magazine may be just a fun little thing you can read to enhance the wait! www.grandmagazine.com/
