See, now I think that CSI has gotten OLD - it's the SAME format week after week and some days I can't stand the gruesome content. The fact that there are 3 or 4 of them also doesn't help.
I didn't like the Pru character all that much anyway and didn't mind her leaving. I do like Paige. She's probably my favorite character (I like Piper too).

I finally got it today. Both why my wife likes the show and why I don't. I heard her talking to a friend about the show today. She was talking all about the personal lives of the characters. The conversation was pure gossip. What happened to plot and adventure? Every episode is: this sister is mad at that sister because she did this and the other sister isn't around to help because she's started dating this guy that both the other sisters think is a loser - and, oh yeah, some demons showed up and threw fire balls at them.
I'm not trying to say that you can't enjoy the show. Soap Operas have big followings for good reason. Just laying out there my realization of why I don't like this particular popular fantasy show when usually fantasy is an automatic home run for me.

Jeremy, I completely disagree with you (not that there's anything wrong with that). I like the show. It's not about gossip, at least not to me. You got three hot chicks, all with full lips, expressive faces, bulging sweaters, and nice athletic moves that show off their lithe figures. What's not to love? Beats the hell out of the phoney-baloney Olympics.....Jake

Jeremy, I completely disagree with you You don't argue my two points: that there is little adventure/plot and there is a lot of personal turmoil being examined. You seem to just disagree with my conclusion based on a strong opposing point. I agree that those points balance a lot closer than how I made it sound. You lean the balance one way and I the other. Am I reading you right? Jeremy

Yes, I think we agree on the facts, just not on the conclusion. There certainly isn't much adventure or plot. I just consider it eye-candy. It ain't Deep Space 9, that's for sure!.......Jake

I like the story and I like that fact that no one really gets hurt (usually) and it takes me away from my normal life for a while on Sunday nights.
BTW, there's 2 NEW eye candies for ya Jake...the blonde chick from 8 Simple Rules (Kaley Cuoco) and her "sister".
The dude from Nip/Tuck started on Charmed as a demon named Cole, he was married to the Alyssia Milano character Phoebe.

It's interesting. My wife likes to "get away from the stress of life" by getting caught up in the stresses of other peoples lives. I like to "get away from the stress of life" by listening to tell jokes that couldn't possibly be real or watching things blow up in imaginative ways. My wife replaces her reality with someone elses "reality" and says it helps her. I don't get it. It makes much more sense to me to replace reality with creativity and rediculousness.

That's what makes each person unique - we all deal with things in different ways from another neither one being "right" or "wrong" just different.
I don't care for real hard violence all the time, seems sometimes the world is just so violent all on it's own so if I can get away and not think or see it then it's a stress reliever for me.

Here ya go - Charmed is coming to an end....
'Charmed' a Casualty of WB-UPN ch-ch-change AP NEW YORK (March 3) - The spell is broken. The witches on "Charmed" won't be making the move when the WB network combines forces with UPN to become the CW network in the fall.
A WB spokesman confirmed a TV Guide report on Friday that said the supernatural series, which stars Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs, will end after eight seasons in May.
With "7th Heaven" having already announced its exit, it means that two WB long-running series won't move to the CW. The WB and UPN will both shut down in September.
The final episode of "Charmed" will air on May 21, TV Guide said.
"It's been a hell of a run," Brad Kern, executive producer, told the magazine. "But all good things must come to an end."

Just remembered. Piper is supposedly going to die when Chris turns 14. I figure that there would be some way that would never happen (her dying). Too bad TNT (or is it TBS) doesn't run their own series, maybe they could pick it up since it reruns the shows already.

Yeah, it was, I'm going to miss seeing it too - and guess what?? Piper apparently DOESN'T die when Chris turns 14 because she lives to be an old lady with her husband.
They sort of ended that all up with a little cherry on the top and a happy ending - though I wouldn't have wanted a sad one.

I've been wanting the Charmed symbol ( trinity) somewhere for awhile.........maybe on the back of my neck.or my wrist.........not totally sure. Had some work done on the ones i already have and have the bug again. I like the ones on the back of the neck...kinda sexy and you can show it when you want to and cover it when it's not appropriate!
