Yesterday was the Grand Opening of Hedo Tucson; a totally unplanned affair.
I called up the Nemo's yesterday morning (before 8:30am!) to tell them that it was a gorgeous day for fun in the sun and to come over. They have a couple of friends making their virgin trip on Wednesday who've never been nekkid in public before. After a few more phone calls, Nemo, Lynn, Andre, and Patty were on the road for an impromptu party.
Rick and I have met Patty and Andre before, so we knew them...but it still took a couple of shots of Appleton Estate and 99 degree temps before the clothes hit the deck. They never looked back.
We drank, we smoked, we ate, we partied, we laughed, and the guys passed out. It must have been the jerk chicken.
Patty and Andre were formally initiated utilizing my virgin initiation rites ceremony. All I can say is they are naturals for the WWW gang. I then announced my retirement of Virgin Initiation. After 4 years of doing it, I've had enough.....
In closing, the weather was fabulous, the food was great, the rum was awesome, but the friendships that were forged yesterday are priceless.
Sorry, but there are no pictures to post...you all know the deal.

Oh My God, this impromptu, opening kick off of Hedo Tucson 2006 was truly FANTASTIC. I know because my head is still reeling. . . . Wonderful friends, terrific food (Yum Yum, Jerk Chicken), beautiful scenic desert mountains surrounding a perfectly heated hot tub and pool. What more could you possibly ask for? The newbies, Andre and Patty, made their nude debut in style. Rick, Cheryl, Nemo and I were proud to witness their cherry popping ceremony with Cheryl administering their virgin initiation rights. This was her last set of rights due to her retirement, but one none of us will ever forget, right Cher? Woo Hooo. . . . Thank you so much for ANOTHER Wonderful, memorable day at Hedo Tucson. . . Love you both "bunches and bunches and BUNCHES."

Heidi, my friend, the side walks tipping just won't be the same without you, but I promise you that I will think about you because you and I both know that the sidewalks will be tipping. . . . well, it certainly wouldn't be ME tipping, now would it??!!! Tee Hee
I wish you could have been there yesterday. . . ruined my whole day today. . . . of course, we were all a little "recked" today. Nothing could compare to the WONDERFUL time we had. It was absolutely PERFECT. Cheryl & Rick had met Patty and Andre a couple of times briefly prior to yesterday. Now it is a different story. . . .as Cher said (and this is a quote), "I'll recognize Andre by his tattoo and let Patty know that I'll be able to recognize her even if she is bent over." Ahhh, the joys of the virgin initiation rights, right bunny???
Thank you for your kind thoughts and well wishes Heidi. I do wish you could join us, but your spirit is all we need.
We Love you, Heidi and send big Hedo Hugs of Joy, Lynn

If I only could have been there! Sounds super, of course watch out for cactus when nakkid. In New York it's just barberry plants that you need to heed.

Woo Hoo! Sounds like a good time was had by all - I AM jealous but glad someone was having a good time yesterday. On my second straight weekend of working all WEEKEND in some capacity or another.... when will this end? I need a maid seriously...cuz when I'm done WORKING I have to WORK on my house, ugh! I was dreaming about the Sandy Hook get together next weekend too but can't convince Randy - according to mapquest it's ONLY a 4 1/2 hour drive from here... (bet I can do it in 3 1/2 but maybe NOT next weekend - there will be smokies galore out there...) Well, thanks for the virtual Hedo in Tuscon, it helped out with the DIF a bit! Hugs, Colleen

The Hedo trip was the best one ever!
I've never laughed, cried, smoked, drank, had sex, ate brownies, and partied as much as I did this trip.
Laughed:
The Hen Ho.....Andre setting his watch for 4:25 to be 1st in line for jerk chicken. The Hen Ho also delivers to close friends (dark for me, white for the Nemo's).
Ganja Poo....eating so much brownies that your poo smells like ganja.
Cried:
The vow renewal ceremony was a real tear jerker. Not a dry eye on the jetty.
We went to the Roaring River Caves where we partied with Rastafarians and were given a *baptism* in spiritual waters. It was awesome.
Rick proposed and I accepted. We're getting married at Hedo Tucson, 12 November 2006 with a honeymoon at Hedo during WWW Week.
Smoked:
The ganja was plentiful and good. There was a perpetual green cloud over the heads of *some* of the members of our 6-some. Overheard was someone saying, "She smokes as much pot as the guys do".
Drank:
Ask Scumba for "Lions, Tigers, and Bears Oh My" instead of ordering dark rum, spiced rum, coconut rum and pineapple juice. It's the same thing, just 8 syllables instead of 12.
Had sex:
We set our own personal record. Hard to believe that was possible after Rick's virgin trip, but we succeeded. It must have been the brownies.
Ate Brownies:
2 pieces of "wedding cake", a starry night, and the cool jacuzzi was all that was needed for *some* friends.
We woke up high the next morning. I think I have the recipe perfected. Too bad we built up a resistance to THC, as I ate 2 pieces of cake a couple of days later and didn't get a buzz.
Partied:
We must have some kind of a reputation as people were giving us their ganja when they left. We had more than what we started out with! I could have made 2 more brownie cakes......
All in all, it was the best trip ever!
Hugs~ Cher

What's on the schedule for Hedo Tucson in August? I'm looking forward to a return to the desert after a many-year absence......Jake The schedule is up to you and Hazel as to what you want to do. We live in a stress-free environment. But, I do have a tentative plan: Thursday noon: you arrive, we go to the house and have lunch. Lounge around the pool. evening: 3-course dinner and wine pairings, if you're up to it. We don't want to put you to sleep. After dinner, hot tub under the stars. Friday morning: breakfast at home then hit the road heading east on I-10 to the wild, wild west. We can do a *circle* and see any/all of the following: Kartchner Caverns: One of the top 10 living caves, it is awesome. Tombstone: Check out the OK Corral (sorry, gunfights are on weekends) and Boothill Cemetary. Bisbee: An old mining town that has been taken over by the hippies. The houses are all built into the cliffs. Have lunch at the Copper Queen Hotel. John Wayne used to stay there when he was in town. Sierra Vista: My house...it's a mess Fort Huachuca: Home of the Buffalo Soldier Sonoita: AZ wine country. The wine sucks, but the scenery is awesome. Drive the road back to Tucson that was used in the film "A Star is Born" where what's his name crashes and dies. Friday night: Grill up something and hang out in the hot tub. Saturday: The Nemo's and Patty and Andre are coming up from Sierra Vista. Diane is coming down from Phoenix. Pool party, Hedo Tucson-style. Jerk chicken at 4:30 is a given. Sunday: Everyone leaves. If there is something else you'd rather do, then I'm up for it. We can always stay in the Tucson area, but it will be 8-10 degrees hotter. Cher

Sounds great, Cher. I just acquired a new camera that will be yearning to take some awesome desert photos, so a drive through the wild wild west sounds like just the ticket......Jake

Nemo,
You know as well as I, that coming out of Bisbee we take 92 thru Palominas (where the great gunfight with the Chicago religous cult folks took place). Jake needs to see Mexico from the comfort of an air conditioned vehicle. And down 92 is thru Sierra Vista.
Just for that, I'll make sure and stop by so he can see you.
I know where you live.

Cherbunny, I heartily approve of your tentative plan! Friday morning/afternoon sounds like a busy day. I'd love to see the caverns and Tombstone for sure and as much of the other stuff as possible.

If you want to do the cave, I'll get tickets. The tour is 1 1/2 hours and it is really nice. I remember when it was announced that a *pristine* living cave had been found. Come to find out that it was a secret for 14 years. It took another 11 years to open it to the public. Lots of research, airlocks, low lights, etc. so as not to kill it like Carlsbad Caverns. www.azstateparks.com/Parks/parkhtml/kartchner.html
