Do you have any favorite words that, when spelled backwards, take on an interesting, ironic, or amusing meaning? I know a few:
Evian spelled backwards becomes naive Eros spelled backwards becomes sore
and most ominous of all....
Bob spelled backwards is... oh no.... still BOB!!!
Anybody else??......Jake

I tried to shuffle the letters Bukkake around, but they are all stuck together.
Even more amazing...
BOOB without the OO is BB
and
BOB without the O is still BB
BUT
BOOB without just one O is BOB

Here is a helpful little link that might add to the thread... Anagram Finder www.wordsmith.org/anagram/For example, anagrams of my name Gordon DONG OR DOG RON DOG NOR GOD RON GOD NOR ROD NOG ROD GON DR GOON DR GO NO DR GO ON I do find the Dr Goon title interesting And to confirm my previous post Bukkake No anagrams found. Even in a computer the letters are too sticky to move. Editted to add: My name, Gordon, backwards is Nodrog, famed Neolithic warrior king, best known for the discovery of the Lazy Boy Reclining Stone, and heir to the Slate Quarry fortunes

Well Gordon, you are just a wealth of info today!
Renee yields a pretty boring anagram: NEE RE REE NE REE EN ERE NE ERE EN
I think it's going to be tough to beat Dr. Goon!

Gordon, you need to get a job considering all this spare time you have.
When I was prepubescent I had a crush on a guy named Dave....so his name backward became Evade (close enough for a 12-year-old) and MY name backward was sirhc (or Search). So I would spend HOURS in class writing over and over and over Search and Evade, Search and Evade....as though the incantation would make it come true.
I'm so fickle...I don't even remember who Dave was anymore.

Pardon the message-board-impaired for the lame attempt at quoting , but more importantly, many thanks, Renee, for the invitation!
Today has been the first day I've been tempted to register, although I already spend way too much time lurking here as it is; the politics scare me; but I do know this: Chris will vouch for me (I've slept with her too!!)

Gordon, you need to get a job considering all this spare time you have. Spare time? Nope... just came back from a tough meeting, and I needed some TNMC therepy to correct my mental state before starting back to productive work. 30 minutes of TNMC erased 3 hours of foul thoughts and put me back into my 'happy place' I plan to deduct my dues here as a medical expense. This board has been my favorite cocktail party yet! The perfect time sink (besides Soduko--I've been 3 days Soduko free but I'm not sure how much longer I can last.)
And SiaSL... I often find in groups of friends there is seldom a group member that I haven't slept with, so welcome to the ranks!
I like Gordon't idea of deducting dues as a medical experience. Brilliant plan, in fact. Therapy is therapy.
