I just made a rare trip over to the "old country" (i.e., DennyP's board) and noticed that a good friend, Frank (aka, "SomorPlz") had started a Yahoo group to share the kind of information that Denny discourages on his website. Denny, in what I can only interpret as an act of territoriality, discouraged Frank in this endeavor, and Frank (being the kindly lad that he is) subsequently deleted the Yahoo group.
But, Frank's idea lives on! I'm still looking for good uses of the ProBoards sub-board idea, and this seems like an ideal one right here. A place to share pictures, profanity, trip dates, prices, and countdowns that are not welcome at DP's. I already invited Frank to join us.
Sooo.... who's going to Winter WWW 2006? I know Hazelita and I are.......Jake
P.S. - if anyone else wants a sub-board for a specific trip with a significant number of travellers, lemmeno. They are free!!
P.P.S. - on my very first WWWW trip in 2002 I went stag, and Frank was my luck-of-the-draw roommate. He is a good chap, and I'll never forget how lucky I was to draw him.

I don't go on this trip, but I'll probably be posting here simply because I don't want to deprive others of my frequent snotty comments.

Bif and I will be headed to WWWW November 30th... I realize I could do a "search" for this, but quite frankly, it takes less time to just ASK!!! So, what's the latest on the TNMC hats for the trip??? i know, I picked a fine time to go absent from the boards or I would know this treasured info... ;D

Tammi and I are gonna be there on Dec 1-10 i think. Having survived our virgin trip...we're ready for number 2. Just gotta think of something to mess with Renee over before we get there. Speaking of that...hey Renee...are those elves coming this year from up north?

We leave here on Nov 29th and will arrive at H2 on the 30th. By the way Nov 30th is our 32nd wedding anniversary.
Joe.

You're leaving on the 29th but not arriving until the 30th? What are you doing -- swimming to the island? Hey, if it's your wedding anniversary, maybe it's time to blow off the cobwebs from your wallet and splurge for an airplane ticket.

I'm likely on the same plane with Joe and Denice. We leave (or at least I do and we did last year) Los Angeles around 10:30pm and arrive in MoBay around 6:30 am. It's a great flight, albeit mostly full, so little sleep is possible, as we are at Hedo by 8-9am and first in line for rooms that morning. Gives us a full day at the resort, and we don't leave till around 5pm on the day of departure. Downside is that I normally have to overnight in LA on the way back.
See you all on the 30th of November....weeehawww....

We're taking the red-eye to JFK and catching the AJ flight out on 2 December. On our way back, we're spending the night at the JFK Marriot.
It should be quite the trip!

I think this may just be the perfect place to post this. I received a note from Ed at Travel Hub ( ehubbard@thetravelhub.net ), and he said to let everyone know that he has a few rooms available at the TNMC room rate if anyone is interested. Apparently a some people had asked about the rate, but didn't confirm, so as of right now, it's first come, first served.
