Well we made it home. Sorry guys no pictures. Beautiful country but it was hot for the whole 10 days. Between 95 and 105 everyday. We didn't know that the Sierra's got the hot.
Played lots of golf on some first class courses. Some good days, some bad. We played on one course called the Dragon. 6711 yards of pure hell. You has to tee off over canyons 150 yards wide, and ponds of the same distance, so don't mess up your tee shots. All of fairways were either up hill or down hill no level ground. The greens were fast and sloped in all directions. The course was a par 72 and I shot a 98, that includes 5 lost balls. Just before the group in front of us teed off one of the guys asked Denice and I if" we had a real good marriage"? We said "yes". and he replied" You won't after you played this course".
Besides that we took one day off from trailer life and went to Reno for the night. Had a great dinner at Charlie Palmer's Steak House, seen a stage show, and did a little gambling. Didn't when anything.
The camping was fun again. We cooked some great meals, drank to much and stayed up way to late.
Looking forward to our next trip in December

Golfing and gambling go together well. Sounds like a good trip. Along with drinking and smoking. The only thing is that I gave up the smoking, but the other three are full speed ahead no brakes.

Actually, there are a lot of really good place to eat at Midway. Unfortunately, they are all outside the security zone. We quickly found that out. And what they do have inside the security zone seems to have zero seating. It does not make sense. Anyway we are on to Cleveland. Had an excellent visit yesterday with my aunt who turned 101 last week. That is hard for me to wrap my mind around.

Nola is off to Nola for a high school reunion. And it seems like it took place long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away.
This has been a week of numbers. On Saturday was birthday #1 for our granddaughter. Monday was wedding anniversary #36. And now off to Nola for reunion #40. It hurts to add up these numbers.

Have fun in New Orleans. We were in New Orleans in August once when it hit 104 without a breath of wind - then we has an afternoon shower. It was the only heat/humidity combination I have ever experienced which rivaled Saigon in monsoon season.

My calculator won't add that high any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nola our numbers are pretty close. Granddaughter is 7, married 39 years and just had year #39 from high school. I guess we are both just a couple of old farts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
