If you write laws with religion in them, then i guess those laws should only apply to those who are brought up in, or believe in that religion. Zilla Zilla I'm sure you realize that the vast majority of laws in this country are based on Judeo-Christian values. It's impossible not to put religious values in the laws of our country. Athiest make up a small minority. Why should we bow to them? There are certain things that will go on in any society that will be offensive to some, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't continue. I pay taxes. Much of those go to pay for issues I am fundamentally against. That doesn't give me the right NOT to pay my taxes. It's something I have to deal with an accept in a world made up of all different sorts of folks who believe many different things. If "Under God" is a problem for some, I say get over it. Pay your taxes, too. It's the way things are. It could be a whole lot worse. ...............Bob (PS: If there is no God, who-ever that is, just WHERE did we come from?? Do you REALLY believe we came from nothing?? Kinda hard to believe, IMHO. In fact for me, much harder to believe that we came from nothing than to believe in God.)
