ScarJo's ass should have its own Twitter account, just like Angelina Jolie's leg.

I would gladly Follow ScarJo's ass before I would Follow Angelina's leg. Furthermore, once Following her ass, I would never un-Follow it; I would forever remain loyal to the ScarJo Ass account, even if it spams me with Tweets.

Just as I thought it was wonderful. Well rounded, exciting and left you wanting more. Oh yeah the movie was great. The best superhero movie yet. The keep improving with every new one they make. It was everything you could want. Must see, lots of action, explosions, and yea some well placed comedy. Don't think about it, go see it. If you wait for the DVD and watch it at home you will miss out. We did not see the 3D ONE.

Avengers broke the opening box office record this weekend. I have to believe that somewhere there's a movie executive that's trying to figure out how to do an Avengers sequel with The Hunger Games involved somewhere.

I think the sequel is in the works. If you go stay for the credits.

Alternative sequel if they can't work it out with "Hunger Games": The Avengers vs. Harry Potter

So, in other words, you think some super heroes should be renamed? The Incredible Hunk? Buns of Iron Man? Capt. Americ-ass?

All I know is, when the credits end and I look around the theater, I'm alone. Even my date has generally left by then and is waiting for me in the lobby (if I'm lucky).

I never leave a movie before the credits. I even watch the credits at the end of a video game. Hell I finished Bo Derek's Tarzan, I can sit through anything.
If I hadn't watched "The Avengers" credits, I would have missed that Jenny Agutter, was one of the almost blacked out world council members.
If they could make a movie with ScarJo and Jenny wearing those paper thin Logan's Run outfits, I'd pay double for IMax 3D.

Count me in as another credit watcher. I started the habit in 1988 when some friends of mine went off to CA to make their names in the SFX industry. But, unlike our pal Jake, I don't tell people about when there are extras at the end of the credits. If they can't be bothered to normally sit through them, fuck em.
Zilla (and nope, they didn't make it big)

IMDb sometimes includes an "is it worthwhile to sit through the credits" section. Good for them.

We went and saw the movie opening night. I was pumped up for it but I walked away feeling a little let down. I thought perhaps I had expectations that were too high. It just did not seem to live up to what I wanted. I thought about this a little after the movie and there were some other factors that affected my thinking. Opening night crowds for blockbusters are folks that go to the movie once or twice a year. They lack movie etiquette. And there are always a lot of needy little kids. The 3D also seemed off to me. Probably just me but it threw the whole movie off.
I went to see it again last night. I did the 3D again but in an IMAX theater this time. The results were spectacular and the movie really popped. And the viewers were way into the movie. Many were obviously on their second or third viewing as they enthusiastically responded to the on screen events. And I would guess that 90% of the theater stayed for both post credit scenes.
I am now a huge fan of the movie. Amazing how a second viewing can ch-ch-change my mind

There's a lot of truth to that, but I don't know that I would necessarily limit it to opening nights for blockbusters. Aside from my movie class, I don't go to the movies very much anymore, in large part due to the etiquette issue you mentioned. While I miss the movie-going experience, I'm just sick of having to put up with people (not necessarily just kids, either) who insist on using their cell phone during the screening.

Saw this last night. Spent the extra shekels for 3D; definitely worth it and if you've already seen the movie but not in 3D, go back and watch a 3D version. I actually blinked a couple times when one of Hawkeye's arrows looked as though it was coming toward me.
ScarJo's ass in 3D -- what more can I say?
Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk? He was good, but it would've been much funnier with someone like Woody Allen.
