At 8:10 PM PST Rubi Denice all 6 lbs 11oz entered our lives. Mom and bady are doing fine. Grandma and Grandpa are besides themselves. Got to go. Big old tough Grandpa is crying all over his key board. ;D ;D Will try to get some pictures posted here in the next week or so. Joe.

I love little girlies! I'm so happy for you!
A tale: When my brother's wive gave birth to their second child (another girl), I took him out to dinner and asked whether he had wanted a boy. He say "no way!" He said that with little boys you always have to say NO! No, don't do that, NO! Stop that!.....but with little girls, because they are so cute, that all you can say is Yeeeeesssssss, yes yes yes. He's smitten with his girls (my darling nieces) and I can tell you are equally thrilled with your new girlie grandbaby too!

Thanks everyone. We are getting ready to head down to the hospital and see them this morning. Denice has already talked to our daughter Staci this morning and she had pretty good nights rest. We are not sure if they are going to be able to come home later today or tomorrow morning.
Good excuse for us to take a 3 day weekend. ;D ;D
Again thank you all for the kind words.
Joe & Denice.

Congrats Joe to you and Denice. What a beautiful name.
So will you have her white pony purchased before she gets home or wait till she can pick it out herself.??
I swear grandbabies are God's gift to you for not killing your own children!!!! I never had kids, but had step-kids and the grandbabies were the BEST part of that deal!!!!
Please give my best to Denice also.
hugs to you all,
diane

Oh! Joe, did you save any grapes so you can make a special batch of wine just for her to give her when she turns drinking age??? Now *that* would be a very cool gift to receive!
Zilla (you could even name it Rubi Denice, make up some labels with her cute little baby face on them...)

Zilla (you could even name it Rubi Denice, make up some labels with her cute little baby face on them...) Well in a way yes. One of my friends is a armature wine maker and I gave him 1000 lbs of Merlot this year to make wine with. He owes me 6 bottles when it is done in about 3 years. He does a damn good job. I will have to put one of the bottles away. Joe.
